The Audi R8 Spyder is powered by the 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine developing 386 kW (525 hp) and 530 Nm (390.91 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm. with this powerplant under its hood, the Audi R8 Spyder is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and to 200 km/h in 12.7 seconds. The top speed of the Audi R8 Spyder is 313 km/h (194.49 mph). The engine of the Audi R8 Spyder is coupled with a six-speed manual transmission and the company's quattro all-wheel-drive system.

The Audi R8 Spyder price starts at €156,400 and will go on sale in Germany in the first quarter of 2010.
